Dunnage Bag

Dunnage bags, also known as airbags, air cushions, and inflatable bags, are used to secure and stabilize Cargo. Dunnage airbags consist of closed chambers made from an elastic film filled with air. When at rest, only the static load generated by the weight of the package contents bears upon the cushioning. When dynamic loads occur, these are absorbed by compression of the cushion.... There are two types of dunnage bags available. Paper Dunnage Bags are made out of two components, an inner component that consists of a polyethylene inner bag, the outer component is a paper bag. The outer bag is made of the highest quality, light weight Kraft paper of high tensile strength. Woven Polypropylene Bags are extremely durable and can be used in dry and wet conditions. These bags are best for extreme heavy loads. Poly woven airbags have greater elasticity than Kraft paper dunnage airbags for more surface contact with the pallets. Poly woven airbags woven material provides greater tear strength, and superior moisture resistance than most other dunnage bag materials. Poly woven airbags typically have greater reuse opportunities, due to the durability of the woven material, and are recyclable.

Inflator adapter should be used to inflate Dunnage Bag with the help of air compressor. Whether you are using inflated dunnage in a truck, or ocean-going container, you needed to properly inflate the bag and not over-inflate causing damage and possibly even injury. We have two types of Inflator.

Standard Inflator is a filling tool for both PP woven and Paper air bags. The special design of the valve adapter can easily be clipped on the air bags valve; the handle helps to hold the bag in position. Any standard air pressure system can be connected to this inflator. An optional manometer shows the exact filling pressure.

Mega Flow Inflator is a special tool is designed for the MEGA FLOW valve which is available for all OEMSERV dunnage air bags. This fully proved system, that eliminated operator error, can fill your dunnage air bag 30 to 40% faster than any other compressed air filling system!
